Several years ago Matt was challenged to try multi-sport. His first event was the Route 66 Splash and Dash; addicted to the thrill of swim-run, he immediately signed up for the sprint triathlon just a couple of days later. He says, “The Tri-OKC family adopted me and took me under their wing. In the last three years I have competed in 30+ multi-sport events and have volunteered at most. I have developed some of the strongest bonds with others in our club, and consider them family.”
Kirsten has been a member of Tri-OKC since 2011, when she turned to multi-sport to overcome injuries incurred as a pure runner. With a cycling background, Kirsten took to Duathlon naturally, with the swim is still a work in progress. Having served on the board since 2013, filling the duty of secretary in 2014-2015. Once again her duties will resume as secretary and help the club in whatever capacity needed!

She has competed in multi-sport events at national and international level, but more recently has dedicated herself to ensuring that the metro has a thriving multi-sport community.
Piers is a USAT Certified Race Director and ARC Certified Life Guard. He’s been in the USA for over a decade, but races for the British Triathlon team. Despite these foreign roots he is dedicated to building the multi-sport community here in the OKC metro area.

Cara fell in love with multi-sport in 2007. She enjoys being involved and helping make sure that club events go smoothly. She and her husband both do multi-sport and she particularly enjoys cheering-on people to compete or complete their event. She says “the camaraderie of multi-sport is what pulled me in from the beginning.”
Kyle has competed at the highest level of multi-sport events since his introduction to the sport in 2012. Starting out as a runner first athlete, Kyle's skills have developed over the years to become a well- rounded athlete. Kyle got his dose of organizing social rides as he was a coach of a local youth triathlon team. Since then Kyle has used his free time to give back to the sport that welcomed him with open arms. His goal as a board member will be to grow the community and drive our sport to it's pinnacle in Oklahoma City!
