March in okarche

We are back to race March in Okarche again! This is a fast, fast, fast, and mostly flat out-and-back 5Km run course on smooth roads with little traffic, followed by a scenic and undulating bike through the Oklahoma countryside. The roads have recently been resurfaced and so you can expect fast times and a smooth road.

THE COURSE: 5km run/25km bike/ 5km run
Athletes will complete the 5km run, then complete the 30Km bike, before completing the same 5km run to finish. This is a fast, scenic course that is a lot of fun. A favourite on the Tri-OKC Calendar!
All adult and youth racers will begin at 1:30pm.

DIRECTIONS TO EVENT
From I-40: Take El Reno exit US 81 north approximately 15 miles to Okarche.
From Kilpatrick Turnpike: Take NW Expressway (HWY 3) approximately 20 miles to Okarche. On the south edge of Okarche, turn left (west) on Texas Ave and go 2 blocks to Park.
From I-35 and Waterloo Road, Take Waterloo Road approx. 32 miles west to Okarche. From Stop light in town center go 3 blocks south and 2 blocks west to park.

Plenty of parking is available at and near the park. Although please do not park on the west side of the park, this is where the transition area will be setup.
USAT SANCTIONED EVENT
This is a USAT Sanctioned Event. It will follow all USAT rules and guidelines. All participants MUST have a valid ID along w/ a USAT License. If you do not have a vaild USAT #, then you MUST purchase a one-day USAT Membership for $15. You can purchase a one-day or annual USAT membership direct from USAT.

Your photo ID
Your USAT MEMBER CARD if you have one.
For the run: Running shoes.
For the bike: Bike, helmet, cycling shoes if you use them, frame-mounted water bottle.
Depending on the weather, remember to bring some warm clothes for after! We like to hang out and visit!
