Arcadia Aquathlon

The Arcadia Lake Spring Creek SPLASH n DASH at Lake Arcadia is a part of the Tri-OKC Splash n Dash Series. Splash-n Dash, or 'Aquathlon' is a swim followed by a run in one exciting sport. This event is ideal for beginners and people who are new to multisport, and we hope you will be willing to give this a tri.

THE COURSE:  750 m swim/ 2 mile run

Athletes will complete the 500yd lake swim(either out and back or one loop, before heading out on the 2 mile run course. This is a fast, flat course that is a lot of fun. This is the second sanctioned aquathlon on the Tri-OKC calender finish all three to be entered in the Aquathlon race series. 

RACE START:
All adult and youth racers will begin at 7:30am.

TRANSITION:
is open from 6:45am to 7:15 am. 

PACKET PICK-UP:
is only available on race morning, and will begin at 6:30am.

PARKING

Plenty of parking is available at and near the park. Although please do not park on the west side of the park, this is where the transition area will be setup.
 

USAT SANCTIONED EVENT

This is a USAT Sanctioned Event. It will follow all USAT rules and guidelines. All participants MUST have a valid ID along w/ a USAT License. If you do not have a vaild USAT #, then you MUST purchase a one-day USAT Membership for $15. You can purchase a one-day or annual USAT membership direct from USAT.

THINGS TO BRING:

Your photo ID

Your USAT MEMBER CARD if you have one.

For the run: Running shoes.

For the bike: Bike, helmet, cycling shoes if you use them, frame-mounted water bottle. 

Depending on the weather, remember to bring some warm clothes for after! We like to hang out and visit!
